Rhythms of Grace – Weekly Devotional

Hebrews 10:12-14 NKJV “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.”

Whatever is happening in your life today, remember that you are completely forgiven and your struggles are not because God is punishing you or because He hasn’t forgiven you for something you did.

You are forgiven and perfected by Jesus once and for all. You need to simply believe it and receive it and then begin to walk in it!

In the Old Testament the priest who was ministering never sat down, it says “he stood ministering daily” actually you will find nowhere were it says seating was provided, but when Jesus offered His life as a sacrifice, it says “He sat down” at the right hand of the Father, demonstrating that His work was not just finished, but perfected forever, So you can REST EASY in His finished work as He continues to work His Grace in your heart.

That’s how you become more than a conqueror, it’s not your striving and hard work, it’s Believing His perfect work!
