Worship Jesus

Psalms 34:1-4 NKJV “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”

David wrote this Psalm during a very difficult season in his life. Perhaps even one of his lowest moments ever, his on the run from King Saul, his life is in danger and his doing things he never thought he would have to, like hiding in a cave with a bunch of misfits.

David could easily have felt sorry for himself, discouraged and even questioning, why? He had after all been appointed as the next King of Israel, but instead he chose not to be defeated by his circumstances.

He arose in this moment and began to Bless the Lord and shout His Praises aloud. Rather than give up He ran to God and gave Him Thanks by declaring His Faithfulness and Goodness, He says; How awesome is my God, He has delivered Me before and He will do it again, come let’s Magnify Him, Now, That’s true Worship!

So today no matter what you are feeling or going through, take a moment and turn your Heart and your voice towards Jesus in Worship, He will speak to your heart and cause you to begin to have Victory again, you are not a Victim you are more than a conqueror through Christ your Lord!
