Rhythms of Grace, Weekly Devotional, 4 October 2020

We are so grateful for another day, another opportunity to fulfill God’s plans for us today and that His tender mercies are new again!

Each day we get a do-over, whatever we may have failed at yesterday or whatever is still incomplete… today we get another chance to get it right🙌🏾 …and the God of all hope will strengthen and empower us with the grace to do so. Don’t give up it’s too soon! Don’t give in He is not finished with you yet. He will complete the good work He has begun in you and every area of your life.

That gives me hope, because so many times I just fall short of the mark.

“He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”—1 Corinthians 1:8 (HCSB)

Just think: What does it mean to you that He is there to strengthen you to the very end? How are you leaning into that? Pray today for a last burst of strength from the Spirit to cross the finish line!

Pray: Lord today I need Your strength to get me to the finish line. Show me I can use Your strength and power more effectively in my life… Your grace is the well I drink from. I wait on you today in Jesus name. Amen and glory be to God for He is faithful and just to see His word performed in our lives 🙌🏾👑🤍
